2025 Northwest Transit Exchange (NWTX)
Hosted by King County Metro
Oct 1 - 3, 2025 in Seattle, WA

The NWTX is a FREE three-day, regional conference for local transit agency staff to discuss important issues and challenges for urban hubs and smaller communities across the Northwest.

This year's venue will be King County's Chinook Building at 401 Fifth Avenue in Seattle.

We have a number of exciting presentations already submitted on the topics of Sub-regional network planning, Service restructuring, Microtransit, Headway management, Rural transit service, and more!

Other activities will include a tour of King County Metro’s new RapidRide G Line.

The RapidRide G Line launched in Fall of 2024, providing 23-hour service everyday with buses coming every 6 minutes for most of the day on weekdays and Saturdays, and 15-minute service for Sundays and nights. It is the 8th King County Metro RapidRide line and the first King County Metro route that features left-side boarding and center-running platforms at several stations. The RapidRide G Line includes 1.4 miles of dedicated bus lanes and began operating with Advanced Service Management starting in March 2025. The RapidRide G Line saw a significant growth in ridership since its inception, with nearly 4500 daily transit trips being made in the G Line corridor that weren’t being made before the launch of this line.
